Providing a Frame for RFID Technology

RFID and its evolution towards a future Internet of Things have been recently addressed in many communications and recommendations. In addition, the Data Protection and the ePrivacy Directives include the subject of RFID. Other European regulations, e.g. those concerning Spectrum, and the limitation of exposure to electromagnetic fields and electrical waste help to ensure a correct application of RFID technology and other systems for a future Internet of Things.
